Having gained A levels in Mathematics, Physics and Biology at Dartford Grammar School for Girls' I worked at The Wellcome Foundation in Dartford as a laboratory technician, studying Physiology and Pharmacology.

During my time at Wellcome I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work in the finance department and studied ACCA at Emile Woolf in London.

I then worked at Mobil Data Services in Maidstone as Company Accountant.

Whilst my family were growing up I taught Accountancy at Bromley College and established my own accounting practice.
